Today I want to talk to you about scams. Unfortunately the internet is full of them and I wish I could say that I haven’t fallen for any.
But I have.

Thankfully the money spent wasn’t a big deal in the huge scheme of things — but when you feel duped or taken advantage of — it simply feels awful.
In this episode I share some very practical ways to research and scope out potential scams online and list how to try and keep yourself from falling victim.
I also give advice on how to check backlinks and what search terms to use to sniff out scams on the internet.
Not everyone you come across online is out to make a quick buck off of you, of course — but unfortunately many are, and I share how to best vet an online offer before whipping out your credit card.
In this episode I also discuss how the publishing industry can also take advantage of you if you aren’t careful.
