True confession: I have a princess problem.
🙁
I hope you are doing well. The newest episode of the Slow Living podcast is out and in it I talk about how I (and a lot of women, maybe even you — ) have a bit of a Princess Problem.
This comes up in my own life more often than I’d like it to —
and it’s actually a bit embarrassing and humiliating at times when I realize I’m doing it.
I have a tendency to want “other people” to do things for me that I don’t want to do.
👑 Like figuring out what needs to be done to fix the car.
👑 Or kill/move outside a spider.
👑 Change a lightbulb.
👑 Do the taxes.
The thing is, though —
It’s not a healthy mindset to have.
EVEN IF it might be “working for you” right now — someday it might not, and you DO need to learn how to do hard things.
Especially if your kids are watching.
If you’re ready to rethink the way we tell our stories — both to ourselves and the next generation — this episode is for you!
