Episode 148 of the Slow Living Podcast.
Hi there pretty people, and thank you for being here.
Today I am joined by my friend Amylee, of the Productive Mama website. A lot of times I’ll get an email here and there asking if the people I have on the show are really my friends, or are people I’ve really met and interacted with, or if it is just fake.
😉
There is a lot on the internet that is fake. I try my hardest to call out fakeness when I see it, so I completely understand the skepticism and wondering. Everyone who comes on the show is here because I think they have something to offer YOU.
Not me. I’m good. 😉
But YOU? I am here to serve YOU.
I hope this helps clear things up a bit! 😉
Amylee and I met online, about 8 years ago. I think she is wonderful, and I am thrilled to have her on the show today to talk about parenting and navigating the Teen and Tween years.
Amylee is known online as: The Productive Mama. She is a wife and mom to 3 girls, a highschool teacher, and her website is a phenomenal resource for parents.
Amylee describes herself as one of those mamas who had home births, used cloth diapers, and homeschooled. Now she uses her experience to inspire new moms.
Today we are talking all about the tween and teen years. We are diving into all of your burning questions around:
- ✔️ Consequences
- ✔️ Social media
- ✔️ Cell phone rules
- ✔️ Quality time as a family
- ✔️ Chores
Grateful kids become awesome adults. Helping your young children appreciate what they have jumpstarts their growth into teens who can have give-and-take conversations and develop sincere compassion for others. These are all baby steps to adults that people want to be around!
