I get asked if I have 30 or 40 day challenges since I talk about them pretty often in the Slow Living podcast as a way to motivate myself and others.
The short answer is: YES
the long answer is:
weekly, monthly, or quarterly challenges need to come from WITHIN.
I am a life coach — I help people get where they are going.
That’s what I do — I help you map out where you want to go and then I help keep you motivated, accountable, and will help you figure out where you are self-sabotaging —
but the work?
that’s on you.
For some of you, that is not a fun thing to hear. For others, it might be motivating.
I don’t judge.
We all have our own SCHTUFF we are working through. I have a TON of resources on this site — some free, some paid for, and I also have a self-guided coaching course and one-on-one coaching.

The information is out there. You do not need to gather more knowledge.
Instead, slow down.
Unplug.
Take a deep breath and go within.
What do you need to work on? What would make your life better if you focused on that and THAT ONLY (without completely neglecting your family, going bankrupt, breaking the law, etc etc…. 😉 )
That is your challenge.
That is what you need to work on.
I teach the concept of the Peace Pyramid. You need to have ALL of the pieces working in a cohesive way in order to get to the tippy top — peace. happiness. fulfillment.
It’s really hard to be at peace if you are drowning in debt or are fighting with your spouse all of the time.
It’s really difficult to feel calm if you can’t find anything in your house because you currently have too many things.
It’s going to be impossible to feel calm and content if you hate the image looking back at you in the mirror.
There is nothing wrong with you.
You are amazing and wonderful and successful and kind.
Deciding to embark upon a personal challenge is for you, and you alone.
It’s the ultimate act of self care.
Choosing to be better (just a bit, you don’t have to “burn the whole house down” in order to tweak and modify)
in just one aspect of your life, or in one section of the Peace Pyramid will create a domino effect and before you know it you are on a crusade to be the best version of you that you can possibly be.
And I’m pretty sure that there is the WORK we are on this planet to do.
So there you go — this is my very long winded answer as to whether or not I “have” 30 day challenges.
TL;DR version: YES.
🙂
consider yourself loved and hugged. I think you are wonderful.
