I picked up this book after reading another Stephanie O’Dea book called 2,4,6, EAT: Intermittent fasting simplified. Similar to the tone of that book (which I highly recommend) this guide provides a framework for self reflection and practical steps that you can take to live a healthier, happier, more contented life. Both the concrete steps the author outlines and the subtle mental shifts in how to think about one’s day are thoughtfully presented and organized.
I really liked reading this book — it was to the point and made me realize that there were some things we were doing in our family “just because.” I decided to start saying no to things that I didn’t want to spend time doing which freed up a lot of time for more family time.
I’m not usually the type to give or take inspirational advice but I read your entire book and found it galvanizing Stephanie. It’s sane, kind, reasonable, forgiving and obviously comes from both your heart and your life experience.
you are my new girl crush!! My mind has been in disarray and my home more recently as well and I just don’t find my OCD friends to be very motivational. But I am implementing the daily 7 today in our house. I needed this because I cant do set schedules but this is great. I’m simple and I know that just seeing a bed made will motivate me to do the rest of the 6 steps to stay on top of my game.
