Are you a perfectionist?

In today’s episode, we’re taking a deep dive into what perfectionism really means.

If you find that you aren’t making forward progress on your dreams and goals because you keep waiting for things to be a certain way —

this is an episode for you.

Here’s what we discuss:

  • The Perfectionism Cycle: Understand how perfectionism can start in childhood and persist into adulthood, often affecting your “inner child.”

  • The Challenge of Being in the Moment: Why perfectionists often struggle to stay present and how this affects everyday life.

  • Recognizing Perfectionist Patterns: Learn to identify signs of perfectionism as the first step toward breaking free.

  • Embracing Your Authentic Self: Steps you can take to overcome perfectionism and work toward a more genuine, slow living life.

If you’re ready to let go of the need for perfection and embrace a more balanced life, take the time to listen.

I want you to break the cycle of stop-starting. Here is how to overcome your perfectionism, once and for all.

Books to heal your inner child:

Running on Empty by Jonice Webb

Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents by Lindsay Gibson

Driven to Distraction by Edward M Hallowell

There is no “perfect” time to do anything. I often joke with my coaching clients that the best way to get your ducks in a row, is to START getting your ducks in a row. This comes up a lot when you might be in the midst of a huge life event such as getting married, having children, moving, or starting a new job.

This is it.

This is the life that you are living, and it is happening NOW. The best way to get started is to Just Decide to get started. If you need help with this, LMK. This is what I do, and I do it really well.

Please take care and consider yourself loved and hugged. I think you are wonderful.
