I love being a parent. For me, it’s really all I wanted to be when I “grew up” — which might be a bit backwards-feminist — but whatev. Being a thoughtful and intentional parent was really one of the only goals I had for myself.
You might be similar to me, and you might not be, or you may (probably) be somewhere in-between.

So how DO YOU raise calm, successful, thriving kids that aren’t addicted to technology and on the brink of burn out in today’s fast-paced society?

You do it with intention.

You decide on purpose how you want your future adults to be and then work backwards —

Today’s guest, Fallyn Buckley, of Mindful Kids Coaching is here to talk about how parents can SLOW DOWN to raise mindful kids — which (hopefully) result in fantastic humans!

I have worked with Fallyn, personally. She was the school counselor at the elementary school where I currently work before getting married and having a baby of her own.

Fallyn Buckley is a family coach, certified social worker, and positive parenting discipline educator.

We are talking about:

  • Social emotional learning and how she helps families learn this
How schools and parents can work together for the good of the child
How things changed for Fallyn when she had her first child
What are Fallyns suggestions for screen time, extra curricular activities, and more!

Life gets busy and hectic and it is important to stop and check in with your child and yourself.
