Embracing a Minimalist Mindset — episode 143 of the Slow Living podcast

see all podcast notes, here.

Today’s episode packs a punch. It’s not all that long, but it is jam-packed with a ton of helpful and action-oriented items that will help you move forward in both your personal and professional life.

Slow Living isn’t about doing nothing. That is being sloth-like or “lazy” — and chances are you can only do a limited amount of lazing around because you have bills to pay, jobs to attend, and family to raise.

So today we will talk about how to streamline your day-to-day life so you can focus on the things that you really WANT to do.

Because this, in a nut shell, is what Slow Living is all about.

If you’ve been listening for a while, you’ll already know that my favorite acronym for SLOW is Simply Look Only Within.

I truly use this simple idea in everything I do.

In fact, it goes right along with my daily journaling guide that I am sharing with you today!

In these daily journaling pages, I talk about the Peace Pyramid which is comprised of 6 parts:

  • Time Management
  • Health
  • Finances
  • Organization
  • Relationships
  • Peace

When you are surrounded by clutter it affects how you feel on a daily basis. However, organization can give you instant relief and rescue from the overwhelm. Creating a daily schedule can also help you achieve your to do list in a more simpler way.

These are all topics we are talking about in today’s episode!

Just remember, I want you to move forward with intention.
