Hi there Slow Down Society, and thank you for being here.

Today I want to discuss self-sabotage —

what it is, and whether or not you think on some level you may be holding yourself back from moving forward with your personal and professional goals.

Self-sabotage sometimes looks like this —

you have an idea. A GREAT idea. So you start making plans to put this idea into motion.

You tell yourself “this is it. No matter what, I am going to do this thing and not give up and this is going to change my life.”

But then real life happens.

and obstacles come up that get in the way of what you planned to do, in the way you planned to do it.

So you lose momentum.

and then you give up.

And then, if you are a like a lot of people, you begin to beat yourself up in your head and this causes you to no longer want to go for GREAT ideas.

Sound familiar?

If so, you are absolutely not alone.

Humans don’t want to do uncomfortable things, and they certainly don’t want to continue to do things that they don’t think they are good at.

So how do you push through this uncomfortableness so you can start making forward progress on your personal and professional goals?

Take a listen. This episode is packed with practical take-aways and mindset shifts that will help you right away.
