Hi there Slow Down Society, and happy 4th of July!
 
It’s Independence Day today — and today we are going to talk about how to feel truly FREE and Independent when it comes to your day-to-day schedule and GETTING THINGS DONE.

In this newest episode I talk about Time Blocking and how I’ve always sort of followed a 5 to 9 schedule instead of a 9 to 5.
 
It works for me, and for many of the women I’ve worked with throughout the years.
 
that said, the only system that will work is one that you have adapted to YOU and YOUR life situation and phase.
 
 
 
 
 
When I first heard of Time Blocking I refused to do it.
 
I hate being told what to do, even if the person telling me what to do was  * myself * —- but I’m a rather curious person so I decided to give it a go for 30 Days —
 
and then I was hooked.
 
The thing is —
 
Humans like predictability.
 
Humans like knowing what is coming next.
 
When you start Time Blocking I want you to schedule in EVERYTHING. — Schedule in your nap. Your binge-watching Bravo time —
your dog walk
your phone call with your friend Jennifer —
 
All the things.
 
This immensely reduces decision fatigue and all of a sudden you will realize that you have so much more margin in your day and you aren’t frantically trying to figure out what to do next.
 
Believe me — I am not trying to get you to do something that will cause un-do stress. I am here to help alleviate your stress.
