Hi there Slow Down Society, and happy Tuesday —
I hope you are doing well.
I am in the midst of Omicron Crazy Town. I work in an elementary school front office and the phone has been ringing off the hook —
tension is high.
stress is high.
the crankiness is palpable.
BUT? I am here, sticking to what I said I was going to do, because I said I was going to do it.
And that is what this week’s podcast episode is all about.
Doing the THING — even when you really don’t want to.
because if you are waiting for a fire to get lit underneath you to get started — you may end up talking yourself out of taking action.
And if you don’t take action? That’s when you keep living Groundhog Day.
You can’t hope and dream and pray for SOMETHING to happen if you aren’t going to meet the something half way.
In this episode I share how to stick to your goals and your resolutions and good habits even when you don’t want to.
after listening you will:
learn that you don’t need to be all RAH RAH RAH high-energy all the time if you want to make change happen
discover how to channel your “inner Richard Simmons” even when you are tired and cranky
learn the 3 steps to achieving any goal you desire
why telling yourself that you are a motivated person is one of the best ways to “hack” your brain
hear the advice that I gave to Jen from Oklahoma on getting started on big projects
master the 7 steps to making change happen in your life
I hope you get a bit of inspiration out of this episode and that you can find a way to become your own best cheerleader. I want you to live out the life of your absolute dreams.
You are not destined to feel as if “this is as good as it gets” or “this is my lot in life.”
You can absolutely do hard things, and you can absolutely switch up and change the trajectory of your life if you aren’t feeling satisfied.
lots of love to you. I think you are WONDERFUL.
