Hello everyone!  Are you happy that it’s Friday?  I am!  It’s been a long week!  Phew!

Have you heard of Go Picnic Ready-To-Eat Meals?  I have been seeing them popping up on the shelves of markets and drugstores in my area, but until I received my sample, I hadn’t tried them.

Go Picnic Ready-To-Eat Meals are portable boxes of snacks that are easy to grab and go!  The best part is that along with their Classic Deli and All-Natural boxes, there are boxes filled with Gluten-Free snacks as well!  These boxes are clearly marked “Gluten-Free” so be sure to look for this when you buy them. There are also Vegan, Vegetarian and Kosher meals.

Go Picnic meals contain no artificial colors or flavors and no trans fats, high fructose corn syrup or added MSG.  The best part is that they don’t require refrigeration!  You can send them to school with your kids, stash them in your desk at work or bring them along anytime you aren’t sure if there will be a safe, gluten-free meal being served.

I received two  of the Gluten-Free Go Picnic Meals to sample and I loved both of them!

Included in the Turkey Stick + Crunch box:

  • Old Wisconsin Turkey Snack Stick
  • Popchips Barbeque Potato Chips
  • Niagara Natural Tropical Fruit Bites
  • Sweet Perry Orchards Baja Blend Fruit & Nut Mix
  • Enjoy Life Double Chocolate Cookie

Included in the Hummus + Crackers box:

  • Wild Garden Hummus Dip
  • Crunchmaster Multi-Seed Crackers
  • Sweet Perry Orchards Baja Blend Fruit & Nut Mix
  • Seapoint Farms Dry Roasted Edamame
  • Endangered Species Dark Chocolate Square

They are both great!  It’s hard to find a good, healthy grab and go snack when you are gluten-free.  These are definitely a huge improvement over a bag of potato chips and a candy bar!  Each meal includes a balance of protein, fruit and fiber, plus a sweet treat for dessert.  All for under 500 calories!

There is even a puzzle inside of the box!  Isn’t that great?

I will definitely buy a bunch of Go Picnic Ready-To-Eat Meals next time I go shopping to keep in my pantry.
