Are you a fan of Kimchi?  I know a lot of people are.

I hadn’t tried Kimchi until I received my sample of Granny Choe’s Dried Kimchi Chips.  I wasn’t really even sure what Kimchi is.   So I looked it up.

Noun:  Spicy pickled cabbage, the national dish of Korea.

I guess I have probably told you that my “go to” snacks are usually sweets.  I have a huge sweet tooth.  So you probably won’t be surprised when I tell you that these chips were not exactly my cup of tea.  They are very crunchy, which is nice.  I really liked the spices on the chips.  I just couldn’t get over the sour taste of the Kimchi.  I guess if I had to compare these chips to something I have had before, they are a little like kale chips.  Full disclosure:  I’m not a fan of kale chips either.

Now, since I know that my tastes are not the only ones that count, I decided to have my husband take the bag to work with him to try out on his staff.  A couple of his co-workers, who like Kimchi to begin with, loved these chips and said they would definitely buy them!

So, if you like Kimchi or you would just like to try something really different than your usual snack chip, you should really try Granny Choe’s Dried Kimchi Chips!
