Ninja Cooking System Giveaway (and Happy Ninjember!)

November 1st, 2012 by Stephanie O'Dea

This contest is now over, and the winner has been notified.  Thank you to all who entered. More Ninjas are on the way — but in the mean time, keep an eye on the storefront; we’re about to have a new offer available! :-) happy slow cooking! steph

I had the grand idea of posting daily recipes in October in honor of Crocktober the way I’ve done in the past, but failed miserably. So since we’re in a brand new month, I’ve decided we need to rename November to NINJEMBER. (insert HI- YAH noise and karate chop) (wait, is that insensitive to Ninjas?) (if, so, disregard.)

I’m probably still not going to post daily recipes because let’s face it —- just how many variations of beef stew can I possibly come up with? But! I’ve got a brand new Ninja Cooking System for you today. I’ll keep this contest running for a good two weeks, and will close it on Wednesday, November 14th at 8pm pacific.

The Ninja Cooking System rocks. You can read my entire review, here, and you can buy it here, with a whole lot of extras you can’t find in the store. If you haven’t been able to catch the whole infomercial, that’s okay, because they now have it uploaded on You Tube and you can see me in all my acting glory. :-)

I still really, really like this product, and I am sure you will, too.

here are some other Ninja Cooking System reviews that you might like to check out:

  1. I just saw the infomercial and was especially interested in the steam bake feature. Gluten free bread and cakes are a challenge for good texture and I’m wondering if I can improve my recipes with this nifty cooker!

  2. This crockpot looks so cool!. Cant wait to try it!

  3. I REALLY want the Ninja System! Thanks to your books and website, I regularly use my regular Crockpot since I returned to work two years ago. But like you, I still often saute vegetables or brown meats before putting them into the Crockpot, so the Ninja would so simplify my mornings!

  4. Thank you so much for this opportunity. Like you, we’ve recently added another family member so we can use all the help we can get. Thank you also for your inspiration and clever humor, it makes me smile!

  5. Here’s hoping I win! Anything that can help me cook is a good thing!

  6. Looks like a wonderful product. My old crockpot is well, old, and I have to use a plate as a replacement lid. This would be a great upgrade.

  7. I’ve used a crockpot for years, but I have been “drooling” over the Ninja system ever since I saw part of the infomercial. I am so excited about the prospect of preparing full, tasty meals for my family in a short time. We work a long day, and when we get home, we are usually too tired to cook–we end up with sandwiches. The Ninja would sure help us eat healthier! Thanks.

  8. This looks great! I especially love that you can sautee inside the actualy crockpot so I don’t have to dirty an extra pan.

  9. Saw the infomercial and was thrilled! Not since my Kitchenaid mixer (which I did not get till I was in my 40s) have I wanted a small appliance so badly! Thanks for adding your good name and reputation to the product, Stephanie.

  10. What fun, cooking like a ninja.

  11. i’m getting married next fall and will definitely be registering for one if i don’t win!

  12. Can I have one please!??

  13. Absolutely would love to have this crockpot! Working Mom on the run :-)

  14. I just saw your informercial! You were adorable and the Ninja looks amazing!

  15. Sounds good and healthy too, thx!

  16. I saw this today… It looks amazing… I am trying to eat healthier, and the crock pot is a great start…

  17. Looks great!

  18. This crock pot looks fantabulous!! I love crock potting and it’s so easy to do. Throw stuff in, go run errands, when hubby and kid get home Bam! dinner is done :)

  19. I am discovering a whole new world of cooking using a crock pot, and your very helpful blog!!!

  20. Cool. Happy Ninjember!

  21. Thanks for being a rare gem in a sea of 1950s crockpot recipes!

  22. Every time someone asks me for a slow cooker recipe I give them the link to your website!

  23. Just learned about this product but the price seems prohibitive for me. Your review is excellent and I especially appreciate the inclusion of gluten free products. Great job.

  24. While I would certainly welcome the addition of one of these modern day wonders to my kitchen – watching the videos is quite an experience – sadly there aren’t sufficient funds for anything new this year…

  25. I wish this was in the budget, maybe in a few months. I love that it has multiple functions!

  26. After using my crock pot three times in one week, I was taking a break and cooking on the stove when an infomercial showing the most amazing product ever came on tv. The Ninja cooker would save my poor soul – I might have to use some student loan money to get one :)

  27. This giveaway is going to be awesome. I have two slow cookers but I always wanted to try this one.

  28. Very cool!

  29. I want one of these!! These look awesome

  30. Woah, this is so cool! It puts my HI/LOW function model to shame!

  31. Our 12 yr old crock pot took a crapper last week, so a new one would be FABULOUS! This thing looks awesome!

  32. this looks fantastic!!

  33. This looks fantastic.

  34. So cool – love the idea of being able to do everything in the pot! Anything to avoid more dishes – especially stuck-on browned meat dishes ;).

  35. I’ve seen the infomercial and it looks awesome … Loving it <3

  36. Living in a dorm really sucks, but thankfully I brought along a cheap crockpot to help me survive! But meatless spaghetti and gooey mac and cheese can only get me so far! Ever since I read your post about this cooker I’ve wanted it sooo bad! I love that it allows you to brown the meat right in the pot itself and not need a stove and extra pan to do it. And the baking possibilites! I would have banana bread all day everyday if I could. Owning one of these would be amazing, and if it wasn’t so expensive and I wasn’t such a broke college student then I would own one of these already. Now, where did that can of Hormel chili go…

  37. This looks awesome! I would love the extra flexibility options.

  38. The ninja system looks awesome! I would be so excited to win it! Randomly

  39. sorry, my email address is

  40. Well this is just about the coolest kitchen gadget ever!

  41. I would love to win this. Thanks for the chance.

  42. I would love one of these!! Awesome!

  43. I heard about this on Meal Makeover Moms, and I’m thrilled to see it here too. I love the idea of browning and crockpoting all in one!

  44. I saw this on TV and would love to own it!! Out of my budget though. :-\

  45. I would live to win this!

  46. Love the fact it looks nothing like a crockpot! I can sneak it in as a new needed kitchen gadget…

  47. I so need one of these! My current crockpot must have faulty wiring or something cause it burns food on one side.

  48. I use a crock pot all the time, but the ability to sear first in the same pot would save so much time!

  49. We just bought the Ninja blender and we love it. I have watched the infomercial many times while up with a new baby. I already have the Ninja crockpot on my Christmas list. Would love to win one, then I could put something else on my list. : ) I just found your website through a friend of mine and am looking forward to checking it out and trying some of the crockpot recipes.

  50. I am sooo in love with your site that I have been using my little crockpot everyday since I have found you!!! I really would like to have this one!!! Some of the meals that I have been fixing is just too much for my smaller one and been wanting a larger one!! I really love this one!! Thanks for everything!!!
